Parrot Resource Centre

The Parrot Resource Centre is a registered non-profit society incorporated in Alberta on June 26, 2012.

We rely on donations, along with fund raising, to continue our mission of education and welfare with a 100% volunteer team.

Our mission: to improve the lives of companion parrots through education and welfare.

The Parrot Resource Centre (PRC) was founded as an educational parrot resource for individuals experiencing challenges with their parrot/s, as well as those considering adding a parrot to their life or facing rehoming of their parrot(s).

PRC does not support breeding or sale of parrots, we advocate ADOPTION.

PRC is looking for volunteers & foster homes in Canada

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for companion birds and some available time to volunteer/foster with Parrot Resource Centre. If you can handle some stress, make a commitment and want to make a difference to parrots, we would love to hear from you.

Whether it be direct contact with parrot caregivers, writing thank you cards, presenting educational information on parrots, we need volunteers and foster homes (all foster homes do require a home check and completed application, experience not a prerequisite).
